Are you feeling dissatisfied with yourself or your life?

From the outside in, it may look like you have it all together - the job, the friends, the image. But inside, you might be feeling stressed, exhausted, and confused about trying to keep it all afloat. Maybe you are constantly thinking about work and your to-do list, even when you are trying to rest. Perhaps you have the same types of relationship issues over and over again. You might struggle with food and with your relationship to your body. It could be that you are unsure about your life’s purpose or direction. You may have a nagging feeling that experiences from your past are still haunting you. Perhaps you have tried therapy before, but felt that it didn’t go deep enough.

Are you feeling tangled up in family relationships?

Does it feel like you and your family members just can’t seem to get along? Do you feel like you sometimes have to walk around on eggshells, or that the relationships are only surface level? Maybe you are an adult child that would like to engage your parents about experiences you had as a child. Or perhaps you are a parent concerned about the wellbeing of your teenager in the home. You want to try family therapy, but your other family members may feel doubtful and uncertain.

I get it, and I can help.

It may feel daunting to embark on meeting with a new therapist. It may feel like there is not enough time in the week for therapy or self care. Or you may think “who am I to take this time for myself?” But there is a more peaceful way to live. By taking one hour per week working with a trusted and skilled therapist, we can transform the way it looks and feels to live your life. Often, sharing the burdens of work stress and caretaking with a trusted clinician can help to lighten the load. But our work will go deeper: we will work together to better understand what patterns exist within you, why they might be present, how they feel, and what you might like to experience instead. This process gets to the core of what troubles you, and is an investment that facilitates real and lasting change on a nervous system level.

Two plants to represent healthy relationships and growth.

Hi There, I’m Erin (she/they).

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping stressed out adults, adolescents, and families find more peace and ease in their lives. I create a safe, supportive environment based on curiosity and non-judgment to facilitate a trusting relationship. In our work together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, which may include looking at how the past informs your present. Throughout this, we will explore the feelings coming up in your body, which can lead to lasting change on a nervous system level.

For individuals, I utilize a relational, psychodynamic, and attachment-based approach that is full of warmth and empathy. I am also trained in EMDR and IFS-informed interventions as evidence-based therapies to help heal and integrate trauma. With families, I facilitate more effective communication and closeness by using evidence-based family therapy interventions such as structural family therapy and Bowenian therapy. It is an honor and a joy to work with individuals and families in this way to see them transform and thrive.
